NGO

I am honored to serve on the board (2011-present) of a US and Kenyan peace and development NGO, International Peace Initiatives where I primarily contribute to their international college scholarship program (ICSP) for Kenyan students. I previously served on the advisory board (2011-2015) of the Seattle Globalist, an innovative non-profit media organization, where I was also as a former board member (2008-2012), as former vice president (2009-2012). I co-founded and co-directed the Dream Ride, a non-profit bicycle ride that raised money to protect and promote human rights. I’ve additionally contributed to projects with several other NGOs.
