I am a Ph.D. candidate in the department of political science at the University of Colorado at Boulder specializing in political theory, international relations, and comparative politics. I will defend my dissertation in the fall of 2011 and graduate in December 2011. My dissertation contributes to scholarly debates on human rights, democratic theory, state sovereignty, humanitarian intervention, the resource curse, international criminal law, and transitional justice. I have instructed or assisted teaching courses on human rights, Western political theory, international relations, comparative politics, international affairs, and environmental political theory.
